Iggy with Colleen and KitIn the multi-event omnium competition on Wednesday, Iggy Silva (San Diego, Calif.) finished 14th overall. Competing in five events throughout the day, Silva began with a 17th-place finish in the 200-meter time trial with a mark of 12.568 seconds. Next, he placed 11th in the 5-kilometer scratch race, then 13th in the 2-kilometer individual pursuit with a time of 2:32.927. In the competition’s final two events, Silva placed 12th in the 15-kilometer points race with zero points and 14th in the kilometer time trial in 1:14.367.
